Whether your child is trying rugby for the first time, developing their skills, competing at a higher level, or looking to connect with players from across Illinois, there is a place for them within Fortivus.
Our Explorers, Crusaders, and Warriors are Fortivus' local rugby programs based in Naperville. These programs have proudly served players and families throughout Naperville and the surrounding communities for over 15 years. However, if our local rugby programs are not practical due to travel distance, we are always happy to help connect families with another rugby club closer to home.
Our Academy is different. It is designed specifically to support players from across Illinois and strengthen the wider rugby community by bringing players together outside of the traditional season. Any player, from any club, can join our Academy.
Every player's journey is different. Some will play rugby for a single season. Some will compete throughout high school. Some will continue into college rugby. Some will remain involved in the game for life.
Our role is not to decide where that journey ends. Our role is to provide opportunities, support development, and help every player become the best version of themselves.
Looking beyond your local club?
Explorers, Crusaders and Warriors run in Naperville from January to May. Outside the traditional season, our Fortivus Pathways open the game up to players from any club across Illinois: the statewide Academy, the elite Midwest Thunderbirds, and routes into college and senior rugby.
Because rugby is more than a game.
